WLAN0's not even seeing the SSID of the router. The fact that is disconnects is somewhat understandable. I know the password, and the fact it is WPA/WPA2 dual-mode, so those aren't the issue. My Wireless card is Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC and I am running Windows 7. Things don't just "work" like they do in Windows or (usually) Mac OSX. This sort of thing is what frustrates efforts to get Linux to bigger market share. Question: I have a Realtek RTL8191SE or RTL8191SE-VA2 Wi-Fi Adapter, and my HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is having problems pairing or keeps disconnecting. Tried endless numbers of different drivers, compatibility mode, from MS catalogue, default Win.

My wifi driver is the latest available for my sy. Got a laptop to fix, they want Win 10 on it, but seems the wireless card is not fully compatible, the driver installs fine, device manager is happy, Windows can see the network adapter, but it can not see any wireless networks. I want to share two things I noticed that are odd. I've done the usual things to attempt to resolve it.
